He doesn't mind going to another carrier, so that really eases the burden. I figured I've been getting a lot of good input on these posts, so why not ask my lovely commenters? What kind of phone and what carrier are you using? How do you feel about the two?

New Phone Suggestions
My brother is in the market for a new cell phone and we both have T-Mobile. He usually buys the phone out of contract because he has the old (now grandfathered) $5.99 T-Zones data plan and it still works for his data usage. Right now, I'm using his hand me down G1. However, if I can convince him to get a new phone that he likes better than his Nexus One, he'll give me his Nexus One for free :)
He doesn't mind going to another carrier, so that really eases the burden. I figured I've been getting a lot of good input on these posts, so why not ask my lovely commenters? What kind of phone and what carrier are you using? How do you feel about the two?

I have an iphone so I dont know if this helps any, but I enjoy it. I wouldnt necessarily recommend it though, but thats because the novelty has warn off. I'm also with Fido and im satisfied with them, but I dont think you're in canada so.. also irrelevant again.
ReplyDeleteMy phone company sucks, just don't get virgin.
ReplyDeleteI suggest tracfones, they are cheap.
ReplyDeleteT-mobile is awesome, I dunno why you would switch? I have a Blackberry Bold with T-mobile. I find the keyboard way better then fidgeting with a touchscreen keyboard.
ReplyDeletei'm using verizon, and it's pretty damn terrible. Extremely high service costs, and limited coverage in some areas. I guess if you're in a big city ex// NY or LA, you'll be fine, or if you've got a family (their family plans are pretty decent). Otherwise, stay away from verizon!
ReplyDeleteis this in the U.S. or Canada? that makes a huge difference.
ReplyDeleteTell him to upgrade to the Nexus S. If he already loves the Nexus One, he'll probably go for the upgrade.
ReplyDeleteNexus S is the best option. If too expensive, one of the free Droid phones.

All I know is T-Mobile carries a bunch of Androids and Nokias. Luckily, Nokia is now exclusively going with Windows 7 Phones. So, the cheapest or free phones will be just awesome within the year.
